Perth, KS on May 25th 1997. The mile wide tornado was coming straight for our group (Charles Edwards, Cloud 9 etc.) requiring a quick retreat. Casey Crosbie was closer and stayed long enough to drop the 'dillo cam in its path. The lead weighted (arma)dillo cam survived and was recovered. The footage shows the tornado passing overhead and the sound is incredible. All these photos are stills from Hi8 video by William T. Hark
