The deadliest tornado to ever hit Kansas enters Udall with a half mile wide path,  creating F5 damage on today's Fujita tornado scale.   The tornado Kills 77 people, injures 270, and leaves town destroying 192 buildings , 170 homes and almost wiping the town off the map.
